Pre Primary
The Pre-Primary level at Gyanodaya Secondary School is designed to provide a strong and joyful foundation for children in their early years of learning. We believe that early childhood education plays a vital role in shaping a child’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
Our pre-primary program follows a child-centered, activity-based learning approach, where children learn through play, exploration, stories, music, art, and interactive activities. The teaching methodology focuses on developing basic literacy, numeracy, communication skills, creativity, and good habits in a safe and caring environment.
At Gyanodaya, pre-primary education is not just about academics—it is about nurturing values, discipline, independence, and social skills that prepare children for primary schooling and lifelong learning. Basic Level (Grades 1–8)
The Basic Level program at Gyanodaya Secondary School focuses on building a strong academic and moral foundation for students from Grades 1 to 8. At this stage, emphasis is given to developing core competencies in language, mathematics, science, social studies, and life skills through interactive and learner-centered teaching methods.
Teaching and learning activities are designed to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. The school follows a Continuous Assessment System (CAS) to evaluate students’ progress holistically, ensuring balanced academic growth without excessive examination pressure.
Well-trained and dedicated teachers guide students in a disciplined yet friendly environment. Secondary Level (Grades 9–10)
The Secondary Level at Gyanodaya Secondary School aims to strengthen students’ academic excellence while preparing them for national-level examinations and future academic pathways. The curriculum follows the guidelines prescribed by the Government of Nepal and emphasizes conceptual clarity, analytical skills, and exam-oriented preparation.
Students are guided through regular classwork, practical sessions, weekly evaluations, and revision programs. Special attention is given to discipline, counseling, and career guidance to support students during this crucial academic phase.
With experienced subject teachers, ICT-supported classrooms, and a structured evaluation system, the Secondary Level equips students with confidence, responsibility, and readiness for higher secondary education.
Management (+2)
The Management Program at Gyanodaya Secondary School prepares students for careers in business, entrepreneurship, economics, hotel management, accounting, and related fields. The curriculum is structured around the core principles of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling, as prescribed by the National Examination Board (NEB).
Students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure through case studies, presentations, project work, and ICT-supported teaching. Specialized areas such as Business Studies, Accounting, Economics, Hotel Management, Computer Science, and Marketing are smoothly conducted.
The program focuses on developing leadership qualities, decision-making skills, communication abilities, and ethical values, preparing students for higher education and professional success.
Law (+2)
The Law Program at Gyanodaya Secondary School introduces students to the fundamentals of legal studies, justice systems, constitutional principles, and civic responsibilities. The curriculum is designed to develop critical thinking, logical reasoning, and ethical awareness among students.
Through interactive teaching methods, case discussions, presentations, and practical examples, students gain insight into legal frameworks and social justice issues. The program prepares students for higher studies in law, public administration, social sciences, and governance.

Civil Engineering (+2)
The Civil Engineering Program at Gyanodaya Secondary School is a technical stream designed to produce skilled and competent manpower in the field of civil engineering. The program combines theoretical instruction with hands-on practical training, aligned with the NEB curriculum.
Students receive practical exposure through well-equipped engineering workshops, AutoCAD laboratories, and drawing labs. The program emphasizes surveying, construction technology, structural concepts, and technical skills required in the modern engineering sector.
